Pre- & Post-Birth Breastfeeding Programme
Pre- & Post-Birth Breastfeeding Programme
For expectant mothers from 36 weeks onwards
This programme is designed to establish a successful breastfeeding journey for both mother and baby.
Amanda also extends her support to those choosing donated milk, a practice that is thriving and proving successful worldwide.
Breastfeeding support includes:
- The skill of colostrum collection and hand expression, commencing from 37–38 weeks.
- Preparation for birth, nurturing your baby’s early days, and understanding the phases of transitional milk.
- Expert guidance on positioning, attachment, and effective latching techniques.
- Support with identifying and addressing concerns such as tongue-tie, monitoring feeding sessions, and recognising signs of breastfeeding jaundice.
- Daily nappy tracking to support healthy weight gain and progress towards midwife discharge by Day 14.
