At our first consultation at 37 weeks we covered everything that was going to happen (or might happen) in the baby’s forthcoming 4th trimester, from the next 2/3 weeks up to the birth and beyond. I learned about colostrum collection to prepare me for feeding from birth,co-sleeping (which aids breastfeeding hugely,) position and attachment, jaundice, wet and dirty nappy expectations days 1-7 and 7-28, prospective plan for weight gains and growth spurts along the way. We also touched on the 4 month regression, pumping, and so much more.

Amanda was an absolute amazing support to me. She is so knowledgeable and has so much experience in this field.

As we are located in Paris all our work was via video and online support in the form of our Feeding Team Group where we had regular updates morning and evening, and any time I felt I or Amanda needed more information to prevent any difficulties then she oversaw each day of our 2 weeks up to midwife discharge and baby on his way from the 2-week growth spurt and beyond.

Amanda really prepared me for what was to come and gave me the tools to make sure I was able to succeed with breastfeeding from the first minute. Breastfeeding is so hard, but with Amanda coaching me with her programme I felt I was ready for any bump in the road as she explained everything so clearly.
